Kavita Fest was an unique festival of poets and poetry. It gave me heavenly joy and happiness to hear the great personality like Mr.Pascal Alan Nazareth, and meet renowned poets of other languages.
Hats off to Melwyn Rodrigues and his Kavita Trust for organising such a great festival of poetry in a very grand manner.Congratulations to all the children who participated in the poetry reciting competition and also the winners.
May God bless Kavita Trust to carry on its great work in the years to come.

My response to the 'Kavitha Feast; you served yesterday to the aficionados of Konkani samaj was a real sumptuous one.The very idea of spending a day admits the' water-wind -sun and poems' was a fantastic one.I thoroughly enjoyed the poems and meeting new people sharing same interest as mine.
It was a great feeling to see young people reciting some of the most wonderfully written poems playing different string of emotions.
The programme was meticulously organised. It could not have been more well managed than it was yesterday. Here by I convey my hearty gratitude for offering this verbal feast and my best wishes for the future projects of the Kavitha Trust.
I also thank all the trusties and a special thanks to Mrs. Avril

It was a day beyond my expectations. Yesterday, at Kavita Fest 2015 I recited a few of my poems that were received so heartily by the audience that it took me by surprise. The poems were translated into Konkani by Melvyn Rodrigues, for whom I have profound gratitude for inviting me as a delegate to the poetry festival. It was a delight spending time with Pascal Alan Nazareth, ex-ambassador, Madhav Borcar, Ramesh Veluskar, and other dignitaries from the world of Konkani literature. The joy of the day was doubled by the fact that the copy of the story appeared in The Hindu with my first byline.

He was also good story teller. I still remember reading his Sherlock Holmes kind stories with lead charater ZARLO GOMES during my high school days. Konkani community will miss him. RIP.

In just a few lines, Hemacharaya's article paints a true and clear picture of the departed J B Moraes. The sentiments of Mrs Moraes... 'writer when alive is remembered only when his pen is active'... sad but true. May the noble soul of JB rest in peace.
